I built the new WWBA website for the basketball league Mtthew plays in. And a couple of weeks ago it crashed and the database bit the dust. So i built a quick site and put the needed info back on the site andthen i thought ishould do the WWBA 2.0 site! So i started working on it and i have to say that is coming togather rather nicely. Lots of new info, better graphics and a ton of interactive stuff for the league. Check back for when it goes live fora new link!

Fall Cub and Family campout started friday night with getting the camp set up for the weekend. Sat. morning brought omlets in a bg from the Wolf Den (Thanks Mr. Wes and the rest of the den!), lunch brought sandwhichs from the Tiger Cubsandit was good also. Dinner was by the Webelos, we had chesse and crackers and sausage for appitizers alond with some very very good stuffed peppers from Tammy and myself and they were a hit also. For dinner we BBQ chicken and hamburgers with some afterdinner coffee. Elijah had aball doing all the activities they had going on, and Matthew and the rest of my Webelos worked on badges. As for the weather, it was little cold but all in all it was a geat fun filled weekend for all. If you haven't been to a cub N Family i highly recommend that you attend at least once, they have beltloops that can only be attained by CNF and reident camps.

I have found a great website for camping. It's not chocked full of info yet, but when more campgrounds find out about it it will be awesome. It's www.campersview.com, they offer virtul tours of campgrounds so you can get a better feel before you visit. Check it out, you'll love it.

Well Wes and myself attened the Middel Tn. Scout Councils OWL training sat., and i have to say it was well worth the admision. They had alot of good ideas, and showed alot of kewl things about how to teach the Webelo rank of Cub Scouts. It's just a one day class, kinda of long 8am till 8pm. Alot of what they showed, Wes and myself already knew as we camp more than the average Scout Leaders lol. but also alot of it was just common sense kind of stuff. But they showed how to make dinner in tin foil, how to make char cloth and taught about campsite selection and more. If you are a Scout Den leader orAssitant Den Leader i would highly recommend this class, it will really help you out with how to teach the rank and even help make it more enjoyable for the boys!

Well the camper is almost packed and we are getting ready to head to Arkansas for our big summer camping trip. We are going to the Crater of Diamonds State Park and dig for diamonds. The have close to 35 acres to searchfor diamonds on and we plan on finding a few. We are also planning on swinging down in LA. for a Peach Festival and maybe check out Rickey Skaggs and Ky. Thunder in concert. Check back here for some picks and stories about the trip!
