Well another cub-n-family has came and went, this weekend. We setup camp friday afternoon, and got the campfire roaring by 6. Then it was supper time and after that time for smores! Sat. morning everyone got up and the tigers and wolves(Elijah's Den) made breakfast for the while pack. Omlets in plastic bags, and man were they good first thing in the moring. Then we all headed out for the flag raising and the days activities. After morning run around we all returned to camp, where the bears(Matt's Den) had lunch for the pack ready and waiting! Then on to the afternoon fun! After all was over for the we gathered around the campfire for supper provided by the Webelo's, then more smores and campfire fun. Sunday we all packed up and headed back to the real world, can't wait till fall till the next cub-n-family!

We had our 2nd. Pack Meeting of the year tonight, it was outside around a campfire and was very nice. The theme for this month was books, and one of our leaders made the Scouts a bookmark to mark where they read ( this was a very cool bookmark, i'll scan one in to show) Thanks Steven! Elijah got his Chess, bowling, and BICYCLE belt loops , and Matthew got his bicycle, bowling, and BASKETBALL belt loops. It wasa good evening had by all, and i think the guys are ready to start working on more achievments and beltloops for the next pack meeting!

This is Matthew and Elijah's 2nd. year in the Cub Scouts, and they enjoy it very much. Belt loops, badges, campfires and learning all kinds of neat stuff, and the skills to be a good citizen and be prepared for life. Their first year in scouts Matthew earned the rank of Wolf Scout, and advanced to the rank of Bear Scout. Elijah earned the rank of Tiger cub, and advanced to the rank of Wolf Scout.
