This is Matthew and Elijah's 2nd. year in the Cub Scouts, and they enjoy it very much. Belt loops, badges, campfires and learning all kinds of neat stuff, and the skills to be a good citizen and be prepared for life. Their first year in scouts Matthew earned the rank of Wolf Scout, and advanced to the rank of Bear Scout. Elijah earned the rank of Tiger cub, and advanced to the rank of Wolf Scout.

This year will be a big year for Matthew because his den will be doing Acheivment 19 " Shaving and Carving" and get their Wood Chip. And will beable to carry their pocket knife at some Cub Scouts Campouts. Elijah willk be on all sorts of new projects this year too. He will be trying to get two new belts this year. Matthew will be working on getting his basketball belt loop and pin. More new news, i will be taking over the Bears (matt's) den this year from Jimmy Hayes. So it looks like it should be an interesting year. Check back every now and then and see how the guys are doing as they advance to the next level of Cub Scouts!
